What can I expect at my first appointment?
During your initial assessment we will spend the first 10 minutes or so discussing your concerns, relevant medical history, and goals for physiotherapy. Then we will move onto the physical assessment where we will look at functional movement, range of motion, strength, and other tests relevant to your area of concern. The last portion of your appointment will be geared towards treatment, providing you with an understanding of your injury and developing a treatment plan together!

What should I wear to my appointment?
We will be moving a lot during your appointment so wear something you are comfortable in. I also reccomend wearing clothing that allows you to easily expose the area of concern for assessment and treatment. For example, shorts for a lower body injury and a tank top for an upper body injury.

What forms of payment do you accept? Do you direct bill to insurance companies?
I accept cash and e-transfer. I do not offer direct billing to insurance companies at this time. However, I will provide you with a detailed receipt that can be submitted to your insurance company.

What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for 24 hours notice for cancellation or changes to your appointment. Missed appointments will be billed a missed appointment fee unless in cases of emergency, adverse weather or unexpected illness.

Do I need a referral to attend physiotherapy?
You do not need a doctor's referall to see a physiotherapist. However, some extended health insurance companies may still require a physician’s referral to reimburse benefits.

Where are you located? Is there parking?
I am located in The Movement Centre at 45 Cambria St. in Stratford, Ontario. Parking is available at the back of the building as well as on surrounding streets. The entrance to The Movement Centre is at the back of the building. Enter the door for 'upper units' and proceed up the stairs and to the right. Please wait in the entrance and I will meet you there. *This clinic space is only accessible by a flight of stairs.
